BAD BUTLER is a band that definitely deserves to be heard by hard rock and metal music fans and to be brought to Metalhead Community Blog readers’ attention with their pure hard rock spirit and sound. These guys have successfully managed to reach a very professional sound quality with their only debut album. This is something that some artists and bands are not able to achieve with their fourth, fifth albums. You might say that this also requires financial strength (working with professionals in a professional studio). That is correct but also wrong at the same time. In my opinion, all musicians and artists who are planning to record an album should research and have couple ideas about these topics like sound, recording, production etc. First, you need to have an idea of what you want and what to expect. Working with professionals will bring you good result, but not a specific one just like BAD BUTLER has done. This band has not only managed to write a couple good songs and record them, but also to sound like a band with a sound which might evaluate to a completely original band sound one day. At the moment, they sound like this is their tenth album not the first. The instruments, vocals, sound balancing, production and almost every single element in their music underlines one thing to me; their great harmony. And believe me, this matters.

Their final track in the album; One Last Song, is a good example of BAD BUTLER’s hard rock/metal album sound. Obviously, they have the hard rock/classic rock spirit of the 80’s and 90’s in their music. We can easily feel this vibe from their album which was produced very professionally. This album is one of the best sounding hard rock albums that I have listened lately. Hands down. On the other hand, the composition of One Last Song is rather standard, just like we all familiar with in this genre. In my humble opinion, they have made the difference with their unity and with their vocalists. The vocalist is a natural born classic rock singer with no doubt. He has a good voice, and he knows the best possible way to use it. His style in singing shows similarities with the legendary rock singers, but it also sounds great with their own music. There’s not much left to say, I am sure BAD BUTLER is going to be a good exploration for many hard rock and metal music listeners after listening to their one song, just like they were for me. They certainly¬†have done a fine job with their debut album; NOT BAD AT ALL.
