Brymir is another powerful symphonic, progressive, non-standard death metal band I have discovered through Metalhead Community Blog submissions about two weeks ago with this very song; Wings of Fire, off from their Wings of Fire album, which was released in 2019. Unlike many other death/hardcore metal bands out there, Brymir is making the “big” difference with their super-rich instrumentation, orchestration, song builds, non-standard composition and with the general vibe in their music. When you listen to Wings of Fire a few times, you will realize that Wings of Fire would certainly make an exceptional soundtrack for a video game, footage or a movie. This feature in Brymir’s musical character is instantly separating them from thousands of other bands in the same genre. They have successfully mixed a few different styles together and developed their own way of making music, getting closer to the authentic Brymir music. These might sound not that important to the listeners, but believe me, this is the most important thing for any artist and any band. We are talking about being original here, and these Finnish gentlemen have done quite impressive progress in this matter.
