Died is another promising metal/punk band I have discovered through Metalhead Community Blog submissions about two months ago with this very song; Fireman, Carry Me Home, off from their latest full-length release; Anonymized Internal Criminals, which was released in November, 2018. The song is rather short, begins with powerful attack riffage. The music immediately makes you feel the tension, the rage coming off from the speakers. The energy level is super high and flows without giving a break all through the way. The rest of the song carries the same taste, leaving the listener breathless for about two minutes. You might know from some of my previous articles that I am a guy who is into the energy in any music. In this example, the gentlemen have made a difference with their irresistible and stimulating energy, which I found quite impressive. It is briefly electrifying you. After listening to it once, I started to think about how brutal it would be watching Died playing this song live at a stadium. Maybe one day.

Technically, the song has good standards in general. Everything sounds clean, clear, natural, powerful, aggressive, dark and very well balanced. On top of that, what I liked the most is “the unity” in their music. And I believe that it’s the unity that determines the impact of the song.

Anonymized Internal Criminals is the third release by Died so far. They have successfully developed a sound, a specific style of their own in time. I can sense that this is the right sound coming from their hearts. I don’t think anybody can fake something like this. You can feel the same feeling if you focus the way they play their instruments and the energy coming off from the vocalist. I think Died is really talented and has great potential at what they do. Anybody might want to make music like this, but how many can sing like this guy? or how many can sing like the mighty Tom Araya? This is why Died is special. When I take all these into account, I can say that I am well impressed by the monstrous energy of these gentlemen. We are adding Fireman, Carry Me Home to Metalhead Community’s Top Metal Songs Spotify Playlist as well. Strongly recommended to those who are looking for aggressiveness!
