HENRY METAL War in Heaven Album Review

HENRY METAL is one of the bands that are facing extinction. One of the very few questioning minded, protest metal bands of our century. They are Anti-Capitalist, Anti-System and almost Anti-Everything that people hold as “iconic” and “holy”. In this sacred mission, they continue their fight with another powerful and promising full-length album that will open another perspective in listener’s minds; WAR IN HEAVEN. Metalhead Community Blog readers will definitely remember this band and their previous protest albums. They are known by their deep lyrics, attitude, original image, music videos, beautiful thrashy guitar riffs and delicious shreds. We have always had a huge respect for Henry Metal because of their passion for creating, writing music, neverending energy, undying flame and love for only music. Actually, we consider them as Authentic in what they do. They do not care to look cool or sweet to get attention such as millions do. They are one of the very few that will always be recognized and remembered for their super melodic heavy music. So today, we are delighted to bring you another HENRY METAL masterpiece.

HENRY METAL War in Heaven Album Review

The recording quality and the production of War in Heaven are above standard with no doubt. This album sounds more powerful and rich with more original musical ideas compared to the previous ones. They have released 8 successful albums in only 2 years, and once again, Henry Metal leaves another mark in the history of metal music with super creative new compositions. In War in Heaven album, songs are very dynamic, melodic and captivating. In addition, most of them have a strong atmosphere, hooky vocal lines, amazing guitar riffs, and shreds, as usual. I can clearly see that they are becoming more and more melodic in every album. On the other hand, their music can also be considered as an instrumental marvel. They are amazing at showing their abilities on their instruments as we love listening to it. This is one of the most important characteristics of their music, and separates them from another tons of bands. Exceptional musicianship. Pure hard rock/traditional metal/rock and roll combination. Amazing band sound and it is only getting better and better.

Furthermore, the focus is on the band sound as usual. Compositions are pretty standard just like in traditional metal/hard rock style. But their magic is more in the musical ideas and phenomenal instrumental partitions as I have mentioned above. I personally loved this album, which also reminded me of some Megadeth records time to time. Henry Metal certainly has a great energy and dynamics in almost all of their songs. This means that they are an amazing LIVE BAND at the same time. When I take all these into account, Henry Metal have not only written 8 additional great songs, but also geared up in their musical level. They have set the bar so high from the beginning that they never go below. Metalhead Community Team rated this album with top mark one more time. It is always exciting for all of us to see a new Henry Metal record out. Strongly recommended to Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and Traditional Metal music fans. Especially for those who would like to hear some fantastic guitar sound.
