First of all, I would like to say that Tomorrow`s Eve is a band that we all metal fans should definitely know. This is a project of a couple amazing musicians from different projects such as Symphony X and Yngwie Malmsteen. After finishing my online research about this band, their fascinating music made perfect sense, to be honest. Mirror of Creation III – Project Ikaros is going to be their sixth studio release, which is a concept album and also the third episode of their “Mirror of Creation” trilogy. Well, as you might also remember from some of my previous articles, I am listening to many new songs with different styles lately. And this one has clearly exceeded my expectations, so I wanted to bring them to Metalhead Community Blog readers’ attention without having a second thought. You can easily feel their confidence in writing music, instrumentations, composing, song building and their band sound. This amazing album will certainly bring them new listeners and earn their respects.

The recording quality and production are amazing indeed. They have a specific sound that allows us to hear every single detail in the music, which is very crucial for every progressive rock/metal band. In this matter, they have earned our top mark. After listening to the whole album once, it was not easy for me to write something down about this album. These gentlemen don’t need any introduction for this epic work of art. I personally liked the album. Songs are super creative that never drops the energy flow from the beginning to the end. The atmosphere is tense and the compositions are complicated as well as their instrumentations. I don’t know why I have never heard of their name before. Time to time, great musicians like them come together for a different project like theirs. And it is great to see they are an active working band and still continue making music together as Tomorrow’s Eve.

Tomorrow’s Eve’s music focuses on vocals a little bit more than the rest. I personally wouldn’t do this but I respect their decision. They have a super talented vocalist as well as the rest of the band. Hands down. The vocalist has a classic hard rock style who reminded me of Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and Matt Barlow (Iced Earth’s ex-vocalist). There aren’t many bands with this progressive style and a classic rock vocalist. In this way, they have something unusual here. Because most of the time progressive bands are lacking a powerful a vocalist who they can also highlight along with their instrumentals. However, as I have also mentioned above, I would like to send my regards to their producer. He has done a great job in every way. The sound does not limit you to vocals, all instruments are also super clear to follow and to enjoy their partitions. In general, the band has done an amazing job in this concept album project despite the fact that I can hear huge Dream Theater influence in every move they have made. I am afraid this is Tomorrow’s Eve’s sixth studio album but still carrying a lot of them. When I take all these into account, dream theater influence is the only thing that shadows the band’s future progress in my humble opinion. Each one of them are amazing musicians with amazing skills, and have gathered a super powerful band. I am sure after publishing this article many progressive rock fans will hear about them and dig this album.
