Today, we are featuring a powerful progressive metal band; VEIO, from the USA. We have reviewed their album; Infinite Light / Desperate Shadows, along with its style, potential, story, recording quality, production rate and more.
Veio is another promising band that I have discovered about two months ago through Submithub with a couple of their songs off from their first full-length album; Infinite Light Desperate Shadows, released in 2018. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to hear such high standards from an upcoming band. They certainly have put together a wonderful team working for the band in every way. If you take a closer look at their recording quality, production, compositions, style, graphics, logo, arts etc.. you will see how professional everything sounds and looks. Their first album Infinite Light Desperate Shadows truly a promising album which is a magnificent introduction of their music and name. Brilliant job.
The band has not only made a difference with their sound or graphics but compositions and song buildings as well. It is obvious that these gents are very professional, creative and talented musicians. Hands down. Their music sounds so professional and progressive that reminded me of the legendary band; Tool time to time. I personally loved the dark moody atmosphere in both their music and graphics. Most of the time, artists miss this small detail which plays a big role in their work’s impact. The music, video, graphics, and pictures must have the common language, there is no other way. If you don’t offer the first and the best experience to the listener, you lose. Simple as that. In this matter, I need to congratulate Veio, they undoubtedly deserved a top mark from us.
As I have also mentioned above, the recording quality and the production are great. Everything sounds super clean, clear, natural and super powerful with its amazingly done sound balancing. This is a top class work. Sections are successfully connected many bright musical ideas and sentences together in this album. There is no one simple song and the energy flows perfectly from the beginning of the album to the end. As someone who spent years in listening and making music, I loved everything they have done in this album. This is a serious work and not anyone can write compositions like these. When I take all these into account, I can easily say that I am well impressed by Veio’s debut album. They have been placed on our The Best Metal Songs Spotify playlist, and we definitely will be following their upcoming music.
In conclusion, we, as Metalhead Community Team, congratulate VEIO for their fascinating album; Infinite Light Desperate Shadows, and wish them the very best in their future. Thanks for reading.
